The Orchid Florist, established in 1926 makes daily deliveries in the greater Waterbury area, in our own climate controlled vehicles. We are a family owned business, our professional designer represent some of the finest design schools in the country. We offer a free reminder service for birthday and anniversaries. Our staff is committed to making your experience a pleasant one.

Our shop serves the following areas: Bethlehem, Cheshire, Middlebury, Naugatuck, Oakville, Plymouth, Prospect, Southbury, Thomaston, Waterbury, Watertown, Wolcott and Woodbury.

Our shop is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
We are open on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 3 day(s) prior to the following major holidays: Christmas Day, Valentine's Day,Mother's Day,
Our shop will always be closed on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day. Cut off time for delivery Febuary 13th is noon Febuary 12. Cut off time for delivery Febuary 14th is noon Febuary 13.

A local delivery fee of $9.95 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)
U.S. orders must be received before 12:00 noon in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.
We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.
We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.
We deliver to all local funeral homes on Sunday, orders must be recieved by 11:00 a.m. Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.
We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

For orders being sent via UPS or FED-EX:

Please supply your own daytime and evening phone numbers in case a question arises concerning your order.

Redelivery charges will apply to orders requiring reshipment due to incorrect delivery information. Delivery services will not forward to another address.

Based on season and availability, we reserve the right to make component substitutions using items of comparable or greater value.

Single basket orders received by 12pm EST Monday through Friday are guaranteed to ship the same day. Single basket orders received after 12pm EST will be shipped the next business day. We reserve the right to alter the cut-off time for same day shipping during the holiday peaks. UPS Ground delivery service will be used unless otherwise specified UPS Ground service does not guarantee delivery times to residential destinations. For faster delivery with guaranteed delivery times, use 2-Day Air or Overnight Air Express. Saturdays and Sundays are not counted when calculating the number of days a parcel will spend in transit. All shipping costs shown are for destinations in the continental United States only.
